This video shows the going from 5,407 to 6,913 Angel Investors. Each angel gives an additional 2% profit but you need to restart everything. Sounds annoying but with this boost, you catch up real quick. You can start to see it here, especially if you compare this to the original start of the game.

As you would expect from a mobile game, there is advertising and micro-transactions. However, none of these were forced - just optional.
