Remember the recent brouhaha over the barracks? When i said blame would be assigned to junior service members for shitty barracks?

Well, CMDMC Angelo Rappa of NAVSTA Norfolk has initiated operation dickhead.

By the way, it’s pronounced Nor-fuk, not Nor-folk. As in, aw fuk, I have orders there?

The MC has gone old school. If a Sailor fails room inspections they are locked out of their room until their chief or officer shows up.

Now, let's ignore all the low hanging fruit. Like the $2.5 billion in deferred maintenance on this base.

Why does it take locking Sailors out of their room to get their leadership involved in their living conditions? It takes the most ridiculous of headlines and a complete dickhead move by MC Rappa to make that happen.

Where did they learn leadership? From capt crunch?

It’s not just the barracks rooms that smell in this story. Leadership failure after leadership failure had to happen for us to end up here.

I don’t know, maybe the goat locker and the officer’s mess aboard NAVSTA Norfolk don't identify as leaders.
