1 Timothy 4:1-5 Rightly Divided
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons 👉[doctrine of demons the eternal Law was abolished], speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats which 👉God created to be received👈 [Leviticus 11 tells us the meats God created to be received] with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God👉[Verse 3 sets the context, which God created to be received] is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

This is why I gave up unclean meats, because God did not create them to be received. He created them to clean the land, oceans and rivers. Peter warned us in 2 Peter 3:15-17 that Paul's letters would be very hard to understand, and many who are not taught by the Holy Spirit line by line and precept upon precept would be led astray by the error of the lawless, they would be without the Law of God. They would believe that Paul was teaching we no longer need to obey God's Law by twisting his letters. When you compare Paul's life after his Damascus road conversion, he continued to keep the Law, but he understood his justification was not in the Law.
