National Park Service Lead Archaelogist Identifies Bowen Sand Creek Site Artifacts

In March 1999, Dr. Doug Scott, lead archaeologist for the National Park Service Sand Creek team, was in the home of Chuck and Sheri Bowen, and identified artifacts they found at the Lost Sand Creek Site on the Bowen family ranch. He identified artifacts that could only be from that 1864 Sand Creek event.
