Google is changing its search results to weed out SEO spam

In response to criticisms about a decline in the quality of its search results, Google is adjusting its algorithms to better filter out spammy and automated content.

Scheduled for release in May, the upcoming ranking updates aim to “exclude low-quality content from search.”

Notably, Google asserts that its engine will be more proficient at identifying and eliminating today’s automated, often AI-generated, content that is challenging to detect.

Drawing insights from a 2022 algorithmic enhancement designed to diminish unhelpful and unoriginal content, Google is incorporating these lessons into the new update, Engadget reported.
