Iron Sights to Red Dot

In this latest video from Nighthawk Custom, Landon Stone shows just how easy it is to switch your rear sight with our Interchangeable Optic System. The IOS is designed to simply slide a plate with your iron sights off the back of the slide, and then slide on a different plate with your red dot of choice. Because we use a dovetail cut on the plates, they return to zero every time. There is never any need to sight your pistol in again after changing from one plate to another.

The first step in changing a plate is to loosen the set screw on the top of the plate. Once the set screw has been loosened, not removed, a roll pin may be punched out the side of the plate. With the roll pin removed, and the hammer back, the plate will easily slide right off the back of the slide. Then, simply slide the new plate on, insert your roll pin, and tighten the set screw. Just like that, you're ready to roll.
