Welcome To Aria | Dev Log 1 | Building A Music Recommendation App With Spotify, Flutter + Firebase

Join me on my journey of building a music recommendation and playlist creation app using Flutter, Firebase, and Spotify API. In this series, I will share with you the progress, challenges, and lessons learned from developing this app from scratch.

The app uses machine learning to suggest songs based on your preferences. You can swipe left or right on the songs presented to you, and create personalized playlists with a simple tap. The app has a sleek and intuitive user interface, powered by Flutter widgets, state management, and architecture. I will also show you how I used the BLoC pattern, a popular design pattern for Flutter apps, to manage the app logic and state.

I will also show you how I used Firebase to store and manage the app data, using Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions. I will demonstrate how I integrated Spotify API to access millions of songs and analyze their features.

This is the first video of the series, where I will give you an overview of the app and its features. I will also explain why I decided to start over after developing the app once, and what I learned from my mistakes. I will share with you my goals and plans for the app, and how I intend to launch it on the app store.

If you are curious about how to build a Flutter app with machine learning and music, you will find this series interesting and informative.
