Nikki Haley to Exit Republican Presidential Race

Nikki Haley is set to announce the suspension of her Republican presidential primary campaign in a Wednesday morning speech, according to sources familiar with her intentions, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

The former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador will deliver brief remarks in the Charleston area around 10 a.m. ET.

Her decision follows Super Tuesday, where she secured victory only in Vermont among the 15 states with GOP contests.

Haley is not expected to declare an endorsement on Wednesday but will instead encourage Donald Trump, nearing the required delegates for the GOP nomination, to garner support from both Republican and independent voters who previously backed her.

During her address, Haley is anticipated to underscore her ongoing commitment to advocating for the conservative principles, both domestically and abroad, the Wall Street Journal reported.
