JKD'S SLIDING LEVERAGE AGAINST ATTEMPTED GRABS AND PUSHES
Here's a glimpse of what we'll be doing at this week's "Friday" Night Group (March 8th, 2024) training session at 7:00p.m. at the Keller Kickboxing Martial Arts Center located at 900 S. Main Street, Suite # 340, Keller, Texas, 76248. Or Call (817) 675-3412 for more information. In Lesson # 6 JKD Sifus Mike Goldberg and Ray Bray illustrate how easy it is to diffuse attempted grabs and pushes with JKD's "sliding leverage". Sifu Goldberg starts from a non-aggressive on guard position responds with his lead hand toward the attacker's eyes (a palm strike to the head area might have been a wiser choice for me when doing this video instead of a finger thrust where fingers can be jammed or broken!!! ) while guiding the attacker's hand(s) away.
ALL questions are appreciated and can be sent to gramspfu@yahoo.com. or stop by at instagram@jkdfridaynightgroup which serves as a reference resource center for students or instagram@kellerkickboxingmartials for updates at what's going on at the gym.
