Brothers Cheyne Kehoe, Chevie Kehoe start gun battles with police in Wilmington, Ohio

The date is Feb. 15, 1997. Two white supremacist brothers driving through Wilmington, Ohio, are pulled over and Cheyne Kehoe, 20, steps out of the passenger seat and exchanges fire at close range with a Clinton County deputy - all caught on cruiser cam. Nobody gets hit. Brothers escape. Within minutes, the driver, Chevie Kehoe, 24, encounters a Wilmington police officer and trades shots with him. Bystander gets hit in shoulder. Turns out Chevie is wanted for the triple murder of gun dealer William Mueller, his wife and their 8-year-old daughter in Arkansas. Four months later, Cheyne gives himself up in Washington and tells authorities where to find Chevie. Chevie is caught the next day in Utah and later takes a plea deal in Ohio for shooting at an officer. Cheyne get 24 years for the Wilmington shootout. Chevie gets three consecutive life sentences in Arkansas.
