Rowan Atkinson's wacky and eccentric creation Mr Bean is a global phenomenon, having been marketed in over 200 countries and continuing to be distributed in many for almost 20 years. The program, which is now accessible in HD, follows Mr Bean as he tries to wriggle out of humiliating situations but only gets himself into more difficulty. Mr Bean has received six prizes, including the Golden Rose of Montreux and an International Emmy, and is written by some of the UK's top comic talent, including Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill) and Ben Elton (Blackadder, The Young Ones).
