45-70 Gel Test 405 Gr Remington Core Lokt @1760 FPS

I tested a handload using the Remington 405 Gr. CoreLokt flat point component bullet. I launched the bullet from a standard 22" Marlin 1895. Penetration was 29 inches with expansion at 1.204" Clear Ballistics gel blocks were used and resting on top of OSB lumber to protect the table. As you can see, the temporary cavity destroyed the wood and the table. The first block of gel was flipped off the table.
