Note: At some point in the middle of the stream, I mention a stream featuring Fredrick Knudsen and that I found it distasteful for him to read a letter written by woof, a zoosadist who was arrested in Cuba. I misspoke and said that it wasn’t “his place” to do that. My point was not that it’s not OK to make fun of bad people, nor was I making a “dignity of the dead” argument. What I want to communicate is simply that the letter was not funny to me, and listening to two people laugh out loud at something so egregiously anti-humor to me was an alienating experience. When I received the letter during the identification process, I was angered by its insincerity. We initially believed it was a practical joke being played by a fictitious person to lead us away from the name of woof. It was simply beyond comprehension he could have actually written that. I was against it being published but allowed it anyways, a decision I regret now as it’s apparently become a cheap way to solicit superchats.
