Disney Wants Johnny Depp Back For Pirates! But at What Cost?

New rumors are going around about the state of Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and the inclusion of the only character that matters in the series, Captain Jack Sparrow. No Johnny Depp, no franchise.

The newest rumors is that Disney wants Depp to reprise the role, but in a diminished capacity. He would likely take the back cabin to a strong, female protagonist who really knows how to be a pirate.

Doesn't that sound like a great way to ruin on of the last great franchises the House of Mouse hasn't driven into the ground?
