A 3-year search for photos and films has resulted in finding hundreds of rare photos and footage that follow the events of May 4, 1970. Along with the films and photos, four student witnesses share their stories, and, a Kent State historian reviews details.

The war in Vietnam had sparked numerous protests around the United States and Kent State was one of those protesting campuses. Follow the events on the Kent State University campus starting on May 1st that quickly escalated to the tragic outcome on May 4, 1970.
