Talking to Jamaica from Southern California

Talking long distance on my CB radio. Good thing to have for Emergency. Been able to talk local and all over the world. if the Cell towers go down and or cell service is gone. you need a way to communicate. I figure having a way to communicate everywhere is better so you can see conditions in other parts of the country or world.
