What's Going On?

once in a while I hear an old song that reminds me of my rebel years
one that makes me remember the pain and misery I felt as a young man longing for something greater
knowing all the corruption and machinations of men
desiring to rise above
wishing for something I knew not
There had to be something more...
There MUST be something more!
This can't be all there is!!!
I mourned and longed for it, but could not grasp hold of the ever elusive understanding...
And NOW I KNOW! There is SOOOOO MUCH MORE!
Thank you GOD for bringing me out of that pit of misery to the knowledge of your promises and the new world to come!
