The relationship between Sarah Boone and Jorge Torres Jr. was marked by turbulence and complexity, a familiar dance between love and violence. Despite their seemingly normal life, their past was shadowed by multiple incidents of domestic abuse. Boone had faced charges for allegedly strangling Torres, though her charges were all dismissed. Conversely, Torres had been arrested four times for battery against Boone, with Boone each time bailing him out. The chilling incident involving Boone and Torres that turned into a national sensation occurred in February of 2020. According to reports, the couple had a normal, fun night of drinking. Then Boone and Torres decided to play hide-and-seek, which would be odd to do as adults, but we could chalk it up to consequences of intoxication. While playing, Boone had what seemed to be a hilarious idea of letting her partner into a suitcase then zipping it shut.
