Stuart Lindsay - Australian Legal battles, western institutions, politics, culture, faith.

Stuart Lindsay is a retired Federal Circuit Court judge who presided in more than two thousand Family Law Act cases and in many cases in other parts of the Commonwealth jurisdiction. He was admitted to the bar in 1981 and worked as a solicitor & barrister until being appointed to the Federal Circuit Court in 2004. He retired in 2014 to continue working as a barrister.

Stuart has been active in the South Australian community pushing back on and calling out the excessive power provided to, and exercised upon the community by politicians and bureaucrats.

I caught up with Stuart to get his perspective on some of Australia’s past and current legal challenges which arose as part of the Australian government’s over reach in response to COVID, and we ended up unpacking so much more about issues we feel strongly about.
