Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Get ready for a very mild day with some sunshine. We'll have a few clouds passing by at times, but the daytime hours will mostly stay dry. It looks like we'll be topping out in the low-50s, though it will be cooler near Lake Michigan. The only downfall is that it will be a bit breezy at times. We're going to have a very weak frontal boundary move through on tonight. That could bring us a little light rain or wintry mix, but nothing major. Lows will be in the low-30s. Wednesday looks to be quiet. NE winds off of Lake Michigan and The Bay will  cool it down quite a bit there, but inland, we should make it into the low-40s. The next system will be on the way for late Wednesday night into Thursday. This could bring us some accumulating snow....especially the farther south you live. It's a little too early to make an exact call, but some of us might have to do a little shoveling by the end of this. Highs will top out in the mid-30s during the daytime hours. If we do see any accumulating snow with that system, we'll be melting some of it on Friday with highs around 40.
