Indy couple's yard becomes 'hubcap cemetery' because of potholes near their home

An Indianapolis couple has dubbed their yard a "hubcap cemetery" because of the number of hubcaps and car parts that have piled up due to potholes near their home. The couple says at one point, it seemed never-ending, every time a vehicle would hit a pothole in the 5500 block of Allisonville Road - a hubcap would roll off. "Every morning we'd get up and see how many hubcaps we have," said Steve Gray. "We really were thinking that someone would pick them up every day - but they kept growing and growing." Portions of the street in front of Gray's home have sandbags filling the holes while others remain capable of swallowing the next tire that passes over them. Over a two-week period, more than 14 hubcaps made it into Gray's yard.
