What You Must Do If You Want To Grow Taller (2-4 Inches)
Feel like you’ve been left behind with your peers because they’re suddenly growing taller while you’re not?
Or maybe the rest of your family is tall, so you’re wondering if there’s anything you can do to improve your circumstance.
Truth is, lots of factors contribute to a person’s overall height.
While genetic factors account for the most for your final height, all is not lost as there are environmental factors like exercise and nutrition that play a role as well.
And we will be covering on these factors and how you can use them to grow a few inches.

1. Eat a balanced diet
While you’re still growing, it’s a must to get all the nutrients your body needs.
If you have a plumb body, it makes you look a lot shorter.
But even that aside, eating right naturally contributes to your overall height.
A balanced diet should include fresh veggies and fruits, protein, whole grains, and dairy.
Try to limit or better yet avoid foods that contain trans fats, saturated fats, and sugar.
2. Stay active throughout your teen and puberty years
Regular exercise can help you grow taller as you go through the puberty stage.
Not only that, but it strengthens your muscles and bones.
In turn, it helps you maintain a healthy weight.
This also reduces the risk of osteoporosis, which can cause you to “shrink.”
Join a sports team or a gym to stay active several times a week.
You can also practice walking around if you’re pressed for time.
3. Get the right amount of sleep
During sleep, that’s when the body grows.
Thus, it’s essential to give your body more time to grow.
While occasionally skimping on sleep won’t adversely affect your height in the long term, it can lead to complications during adolescence.
That’s because your body releases human growth hormone (HGH) when you sleep.
By getting good, sound sleep, you can encourage the production of HGH.
For preteens, sleep for 9 to 11 hours of sleep every night.
4. Practice good posture
Slouching or poor posture makes you look shorter than you actually are.
Plus, over time, this can impact your actual height.
Naturally, the back curves in three places.
But when you keep on slumping or slouching, these curves may alter to accommodate your new posture.
As a result, it leads to neck and back pain.
Be mindful of how you sit, stand, and sleep.
Things like a memory foam pillow or a standing desk can help correct your posture.
Certain exercises can also help you, which leads us to the last item.

It also works by strengthening your muscles, aligning your body, and helping you have a good posture.
All those will help make you stand and look taller.
