A Burlington town council member is expected to serve a year probation after pleading guilty to intimidation, a misdemeanor. Teddy Huffer reached a plea agreement on February 22 with Carroll County prosecutors, and a judge approved it on February 23. Court documents show the town councilman walked up to an intern at Stout’s Funeral Home on October 3, pulled a handgun from his pocket and waved it in the man’s face, according to the probable cause affidavit.
