March 3, 2024, John 1:1-14, "Let's Talk About Jesus Again", (Live, No Music)

Streamed on:

John 1:1-4, 12-14, the word became flesh: God in the flesh, entering into our human time and space.

Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, eternity past and eternity future in time and space. Then after New Jerusalem, there will no more be time and space, but eternity with God will continue on. Elohim: God singular but plural. ONE God but a Holy Trinity, not confined by linear time and space.

Revelation 1:8, Revelation 2:13, the Almighty AND the first and the last.

Colossians 1:15, the firstborn is whoever the Father says is the firstborn. Example: Isaac was not a first born child, but he was declared firstborn, and the firstborn inherited all things from the father. No man had ever seen God at any time, and when Jesus came, God became momentarily visible in the flesh.

Colossians 2:9, and Jesus Christ was indeed wholly God (100% God).

1 John 5:7-8, the 7th verse appeared in the early translation to clarify the 8th verse.

Matthew 3:16, the 3rd heaven (the heaven where the Son currently sits at the right hand of the Father) opened up and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove upon Jesus.

Matthew 1:23, Emmanuel

John 14:8-11, Jesus Christ was indeed wholly God (100% God). He is God himself.

John 10:30, the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and the Godhead is in perfect unity.

Luke 2:11, there is only ONE LORD.

John 1:1, 14, the Word and God in the flesh who spoke and acted. His glory was beheld when He spoke and acted.

John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:2, the same God who made the world, is also currently sustaining the world, and the world will not perish until He comes again to replace it with a new world. There is nothing man can do to modify the balance of the world.

John 1:12-13, the rite of passage is through Christ alone.

Colossians 1:13, Christ delivered believers from the domain of sin and darkness, and conveyed them into the kingdom of God. Jesus is the "passport" through the checkpoint at the gate. Jesus is God's love. The Father gave the sheep to the Son, and the sheep serve the Son therefore.

John 1:14, Christ redeemed believers- He purchased them with His blood, and took away their sin.

Colossians 1:18-20, Christ became the first preeminent in the Church. He is the head of the Church. The creation (or creature) groans for redemption. First, humankind that would accept Christ, became reconciled to God. Later the rest of creation would be reconciled by the creation of a new earth and heaven.

Colossians 1:21-22, the "substitutionary" death: Christ took the believer's place on the cross, and Christ took all the wrath of God on the cross. Therefore, Christ made peace with God, and the wrath of God was settled by the fulfillment of the entire law in that way.

1 Corinthians 15:47, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16, conclusion of the matter: Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
