Three US military cargo planes airdropped food into the Gaza Strip on March 2, a senior US official told AFP. "We conducted a combined humanitarian assistance airdrop into Gaza" involving three US Air Force C-130s, the official told AFP. At least 11 people were killed and over 50 injured after an Israeli army air attack “targeting displaced persons’ tents” in Rafah, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported. Israeli troops raided a compound in western Khan Younis associated with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, as per the IDF.

2.Cargo ship Rubymar, which was abandoned in the Red Sea after being targeted by the Houthis on February 18, had sunk, said Yemen’s government. Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid marched alongside families of the hostages in a “unity march” to Jerusalem. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the US was acting as a “weak, marginal state” that is unable to secure aid access to Palestinians.
