Eliashib and Nehmiah were on very different tracks, and it demonstrates for us how we, in our modern world, can either be living life as spirit-filled followers of Christ, or we can be caught up in the cares of the world, or even believing that our "religious" behavior is what God wants. Ultimately, He wants a heart that pursues Him relentlessly.
