U.S. Just Threatened To Restrict Aid To Ghana For Passing Anti-LGBTQ Bill!
On Thursday, the United States issued a warning stating that it might restrict foreign aid to Ghana should the country's president enact a new bill that criminalizes identifying as LGBTQ+.
Ghana's parliament passed legislation on Wednesday that would result in up to three years of imprisonment for those identifying as LGBTQ+ and a five-year jail term for individuals involved in forming or funding LGBTQ+ groups.
