Forrest Gump Point in the morning
Sun brightens the landscape of Monument Valley. You will see colors on monument valley buttes.

If you arrive early, you will have fewer cars which means easier to take photos and videos.

Forrest Gump Point in the afternoon or late evening
Monument valley will be in the shade. You will only see the silhouette of the buttes in dark colors.

When I was there, more people were taking photos and videos in the afternoon.
