Dramatic surveillance footage of the robbery showed a shotgun-toting suspect, who police identified as Tyrone Lee, walk into the Tulsa, Oklahoma liquor store on Thursday evening demanding cash.

The gunman walked behind the counter, as daughter Ashley Lee (no relation to Tyrone) put her hands up. After he walked out of view, the mother Tina Ring and her daughter both grabbed their guns, and opened fire when the suspect returned.

They shot the robber three times, and following a dramatic struggle in which he took the gun off the mother and pistol-whipped her, the daughter shot him one last time — before the mother-daughter ran out of the store to safety.

Tyrone Lee currently hospitalized in critical condition.
