Moon Fish

Moonfish, also known as opah, are large, disc-shaped fish found in oceans worldwide. They possess unique adaptations, including a warm-blooded circulatory system, allowing them to regulate their body temperature and thrive in cold depths. Moonfish have striking silvery-blue scales and are prized by anglers for their firm, flavorful flesh. They are also known for their distinctive circular shape, resembling a full moon, hence the name "moonfish."
