Late February Fishing Trip {Catch Clean and Cook}

In this video, Ken goes out on a late February #fishingtrip with his good friend, Ricky, from @wallaceknifeworkshomestead . This is very much a typical winter time #fishing setup you'll commonly see in Northwest #Florida where the boys were targeting #largemouth #bass, #stripedbass, #redfish, #catfish, and other species.

For Ken's setup, he was mostly using a Cadence Ideal 4000 Series Spinning Reel (made by @CadenceFishing ) on a 7 ft. medium heavy Condor graphite rod with approximately 75 feet of 20# monofilament line tied to 30# braid (8# diameter). Ken used a modified Carolina Rig he calls his "Fish Finder Rig." He used a 00 Demon circle hook with a shank knot. Dead shrimp was his preferred bait.

After the trip, Ken did a #catchcleanandcook using a grill he inherited from his father.
