Alexei Navalny's funeral begins in Moscow

People are gathering in Moscow for the funeral of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

There is a heavy police presence in the city, with hundreds in attendance risking arrest.

The Russian opposition leader died in an Arctic prison, where he had been held on politically motivated charges.

Few details have been released on the cause of his death - officials say he collapsed after going for a walk.

His wife, Yulia Navalnaya, alleges he was killed on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
