As many people as there are that seem to hate on this game, I hope there’s some folks out there who like it.
the music is a vibe, I mean it had to be.
The first game set the bar really high cos the music in FFX really showcased what the PS2 was capable of in turns of cinematics and Audio Effects, Nobuo Uematsu gave the sequel songwriters a tough act to follow. It was arranged by Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi and they really pushed the EDM angle into every track. I feel like you could freestyle spoken verse in the breakdowns between the hook, but these lyrics are the ones that hold most meaning to me. Enjoy
