Colorectal Awareness Month

We’re facing a battle, a silent killer among us – cancer. And I ain’t just talking about it; I’m here to stir us into action. You know, there’s this powerhouse, @drhadiyahgreen, working miracles with nano lasers, zapping cancer in mice without a hitch. No side effects, nothing. But here’s the kicker – she’s hitting a wall because of funds. Yes, dollars, support, the green we need to push forward.

Now, let me bring it home. My friend Tammie Holland @thisweekwithtammie , she’s a warrior, went through the wringer with stage four colorectal cancer. Why? All because she missed her #colonoscopy. And, she’s out here, spreading hope and awareness. But, not everyone’s story turns a page like Tammie’s. Take my mother, for instance, we lost her to cancer five years back. It still hits hard, you know?

We keep waiting for a miracle, acting like faith alone will cut it. But nah, faith without work is dead. We’ve got warriors like Dr. Hadiyah Nicole Green with @oraleeorg ready to lead the charge, but she needs us – yes, every single one of us – to step up, to chip in, to give a damn.

We’re in #WomensHistoryMonth, and here I am, talking about three phenomenal women – Dr. Green, Tammy, and my mother. They’re not just stories; they’re calls to action. This is bigger than us; it’s about fighting for a chance to live, to thrive.

So, what’s the hold-up? We gonna sit back, or are we gonna rise up and support the cause? Donations, awareness, getting that colonoscopy – it’s all hands on deck. Let’s not wait for another loss to get it; let’s move, let’s save lives, let’s honor those fighting, those we’ve lost, by doing our part.
