AMAZING Vintage Otis Traction Elevator w Swing Door - MHU Nash Hall (Mars Hill, NC)

This elevator was the one I wanted to check out when I went to look around this campus. I thought this was gonna be a bit harder to get to, but I did a loophole with the stairs and it was easier than I thought. I was expecting a standard Otis Black Button install, but man, I was not expecting a SWING DOOR one!

This elevator is nothing short of amazing! It runs fantastically, all the fixtures are original, you can slightly see through the shaft, and even the In Use Lights work! It is a shame that it has a standard sliding door on the inside instead of a gate, but that is a stupid nitpick, because this elevator is truly epic and easily the best elevator on the campus!
