From out of the blue I received a phone call on March 01, 2024 at 09:41AM from an Indian call center (scam center). The number called from was 737-281-0253, a Texas number. Unless India has set up a call center in Texas, I believe they were calling from India. Note the misuse of many English words.
The scam works like this: You get a random call from India stating you have won a prize...then you must drive to a location given where you are to claim your prize and exchange cash or deposit money in a Bitcoin machine. Someone arrives to pick up the cash and drives away, or you are promised a huge refund once you give the call center your banking information. IT IS A SCAM. Hang up on them and report the call to your local police.
