European populism in split-screen. Today, Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni is at the White House for a meeting with Joe Biden.

Next week, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán is at Mar-a-Lago for a meeting with Donald Trump.

You know why Orbán is going to Florida and not DC?! Because he knows who the legitimate president of the United States is.

Thus Viktor Orbán cements his status as the undisputed leader of Europe’s nationalists ahead of the European Elections. Sorry Giorgia.
