Tim Lally Chevrolet - Lost Camaro - Shannon Owens finally finds his 1968 Camaro RS after 33 Years

After weeks of him driving past a white 1968 Camaro RS for sale on the side of the road, Shannon Owens' mother surprised him with the cash necessary to make it his own. Shortly thereafter, in 1989, his mother suffered an accident and needed immediate surgery. As the family scrambled for the funds for her surgery, Shannon sold his dream car to help his mom. When she healed Shannon began the quest to find his Camaro. For over three decades Shannon scoured online forums, posted pictures and details, reached out to media personalities, and asked friends and family to watch for his Camaro. Last year Tim Lally Sales Manager Anthony Paolella showed his coworkers a 1968 Camaro he purchased that was stored in someone's barn. He talked about its good condition, original equipment, and what he planned to do to restore and customize it. He posted pictures of the interior on Facebook Marketplace, looking to sell the interior components he was going to replace. Shannon's friend saw the listing and noticed the floor mats looked just like the ones Shannon had so often showed him in his pictures. He called his friend and said, "I think I found your car". It had been over 33 years, and Shannon had all but given up. When he saw the floor mats his heart raced. One phone call later, Anthony accepted that this was not going to be his car to restore anymore...
