I took the opportunity to head down to the Lake District to the red squirrel nature reserve to photograph and capture some footage of these awesome animals, big shout out to the rangers and volunteers who work tirelessly to protect the reds squirrels from the dreaded pox virus. such an amazing place full of wildlife and an area I will be heading back to in the future. My set up for the outing was the Nikon Z8 and the amount 300mm f4 afs lens I also tested out the auto capture feature on the Z8 using the 14-30 f4 Z lens which I will be exploring more in the future. if you do head down and visit you can drop a donation in at the reserve.
