Het Islamitisch College Amsterdam (ICA), een school voor islamitisch onderwijs, gaat sluiten. Vanwege de te lage kwaliteit van het onderwijs en het dalend leerlingental wil demissionair staatssecretaris Marja van Bijsterveldt (Onderwijs, CDA) de subsidie voor de school stopzetten.
