Rain ends this morning, skies remain cloudy

Rain is moving through the area this morning.  Thankfully temperatures are above freezing, so only wet road are expected for most.  There is a chance of a little ice on the roads and sidewalks far northwest of Milwaukee.   The precipitation moves out later this morning and skies remain mostly cloudy through the day. Temperatures will be mild with highs in the 40s.  Tonight's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and lows in the 20s. SEVERE WEATHER TOOLS:  RADAR | STORM SHIELD APP | Phone Alerts  We start the weekend dry, but more rain and a potential wintry mix is on the way.  A chance of showers returns late Saturday afternoon.  Rain becomes likely again Saturday night.  The rain may change to a few snow showers Sunday morning, but little or no accumulation is expected.   Rain may add up to another half inch.  If you're heading up north this weekend, you'll encounter heavy snow northwest of Green Bay.
