East Palestine Community: “They Stole Our Lives”

This week, Martha MacCallum from Fox News and I sat down with residents of East Palestine, Ohio and neighboring Pennsylvania to discuss the ongoing fallout from the toxic 2023 train derailment.

This disaster happened because of corporate greed and a failure of government, plain and simple. The people paying the price are the residents of East Palestine and the surrounding area who, for months, have been suffering serious health issues caused by toxic chemical exposure. Norfolk Southern, the railroad company responsible for the derailment, should be criminally charged for what it did: stealing the health, property values, and the pursuit of happiness from this wonderful community. As one resident said: “They stole our lives.”
