On Wednesday, a letter containing white powder was dispatched to the Manhattan chambers of Judge Arthur Engoron, presiding over Donald Trump’s $464 million civil fraud judgment.

This incident coincided with the submission of a 1,800-page motion by Trump’s attorneys seeking a stay on the ruling, as reported by a source familiar with the investigation.

Judge Arthur Engoron’s incoming mail undergoes daily pre-screening, ensuring he did not come into direct contact with the letter.

The source reveals that the envelope, a standard business size, was addressed to him at 60 Centre Street.

Although two court staffers were exposed to the powder, they did not exhibit immediate signs of harm. The envelope also contained a letter addressed to the judge.

Despite the incident, the building did not require evacuation, and authorities determined the powder to be safe, NBC 4 reported.
