College Swimmer Is Disqualified From His Win For Celebrating With His Teammate

North Carolina State swimmer stripped of title after celebrating with teammate after coming in first in the 1650-yard freestyle. Swimming: A sport where a full-grown man can compete with women but a swimmer can't celebrate. After an impressive win, Owen Lloyd sat on the lane line to celebrate and fell into his teammate's lane. The teammate was finished but technically the race was still going on. Lloyd was disqualified for "interfering with another swimmer" even though that swimmer was done. Teammate Ross Dant, who was crowned 1st, was fuming and said Lloyd deserved the win. "To have him disqualified I think is the dumbest thing ever."
