“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.” Psalms 61:1-4

There are times when all of us can feel quite overwhelmed. It doesn’t matter who you are, we have all been overwhelmed at one time or another. When those overwhelming times come, it is important to remember what God has said.

1. God has a plan — Jeremiah 29:11
2. God can calm any storm — Mark 4:35-41
3. Trust God — Proverbs 3:5-6
4. God is with you — Deuteronomy 31:6

All others may fail you, but God will not. So . . . when you are overwhelmed, don’t fret. Go to the source of all power and all blessing and ask Him to bid your storm to cease. Then just watch what happens.

Capac Bible Church is an old fashioned preaching, Bible believing, hymn singing, KJV church located in beautiful Saint Clair County in Southeast Michigan.

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
