Sony Layoffs

Sony will be laying off over 900 employs, 8% of their workforce.
I for one am a little surprised by this news. I always thought that Sony was doing considerable well when comparing it to the rest of the gaming ecosystem. An this isn't just side studios of Sony's, like Bend Studio, but their recent prize winners like Guerilla Games and Insomniac. But it has already been stated by gaming insiders that 2024 will be the year of studio closures.
