Former Irkutsk mayor drifts limousine on Lake Baikal

Former mayor of Irkutsk, businessman and long car enthusiast Viktor Kondrashov donned his best suit, his best sunglasses and headed out to Lake Baikal. Why? To drift a limousine on the ice for his own amusement and Instagram account. His look, his driving skills and the ambient temperature can all be summed up in one word: cool.

Less cool, however, is the law breaking – driving on ice is against Irkutsk regional laws, owing to ice’s propensity to crack and melt even when it looks and feels solid. While the law doesn’t specifically mention limousines, it’s still probably not a great idea to try this at home. Not that your home contains a frozen lake. Probably.
