Looking at your life: Whatever doesn’t sharpen you dulls you

It's that time of the year when many of us reflect on our resolutions and promises to ourselves. Have you found yourself already breaking those commitments? How has your journey through life shaped your experiences and emotions over the decades? Are you truly content and fulfilled?

Consider the habits you have right now that are not consistent with your calling because whatever is dulling is a habit you need to break. Once we break free from these habits we are going to be all out and on fire for the purposes we were created for, We’re not here on earth to be comfortable all the time because you don’t grow in times of comfort.
As we navigate through life, we must listen to the whispers of our spirit, guiding us towards something special. This is one of the ways God talks to us.

1 Kings 19:11-13
Tree of Life Version

11 Then He said, “Come out and stand on the mount before Adonai.”[a] Behold, Adonai was passing by—a great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and shattering cliffs before Adonai. But Adonai was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but Adonai was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake a fire, but Adonai was not in the fire. After the fire there was a soft whisper of a voice. 13 As soon as Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out and stood at the entrance of the cave.

Then all of a sudden, a voice addressed him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Are you heeding that call or allowing distractions to dull your purpose? Whatever doesn’t sharpen you dulls your existence - is Yeshua a daily part of your life?

Today I reflect and share my past, present, and future in hopes it opens your heart and mind to search and want for more, an awakening of some sort! Reflect on your purpose on this earth. Are you merely existing, or are you actively seeking fulfillment and growth? What occupies your thoughts and influences your actions daily? Where does God fit into this narrative, and do you nurture an intimate relationship with Him?

In pursuit of a more fulfilling life, it is necessary to eliminate sin and negative influences that hinder spiritual growth. On today’s talk, I encourage you to embrace introspection and be honest with yourself to seek clarity on God's will for you as you navigate the path toward a more purposeful existence.
