Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 2022 | Mission 01: Strike

The first mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) is called "Strike." The mission begins with a cutscene in which Task Force 141 is briefed on a mission to kill or capture General Ghorbani, the second-in-command of the Iranian Quds Force. Ghorbani is believed to be in Al-Masrah, a city in the Middle East.

The mission begins with the player character, Ghost, and Soap parachuting into Al-Masrah. They are joined by a team of Marines and Mexican Special Forces soldiers. The team makes their way to a warehouse where Ghorbani is believed to be meeting with Russian arms dealers.

The team assaults the warehouse and engages in a firefight with the Russian and Iranian forces inside. Ghost and Soap eventually find Ghorbani in a shipping container. They kill Ghorbani's bodyguards and capture him.

Just as Ghost and Soap are about to extract Ghorbani, they are ambushed by a large force of Iranian soldiers. The team is forced to fight their way out of the warehouse.

Ghost and Soap eventually manage to extract Ghorbani and return to base. The mission ends with Ghost and Soap being congratulated by General Shepherd and CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell.

The strike is a well-paced and action-packed mission that introduces players to the new Task Force 141 team and the threats they will face in the game. The mission also features some impressive visuals and realistic gun handling.
