Hike #32: Yerba Buena Ridge (via Oak Spring), San Gabriel Mtns (Angeles NF), CA

Hiking Yerba Buena Ridge (via Oak Spring): San Gabriel Mountains (Angeles National Forest), CA.

The hike starts in a canyon on the western side of the range. Despite being only a few miles from the city, Yerba Buena Ridge gets very few visitors. Mountain visitors tend to flock to more popular destinations, which certainly worked in my favor. Oak Spring is a pleasant stop along the way. The hike in total makes for an enjoyable and pleasant visit, especially since it was a cool day.
